The activity of tenants of apartments in the capital increased sharply at the beginning of 2019, returned to normal levels. This is stated in the materials of the Agency “INKOM-real Estate”, provided of edition”.ru”.
According to realtors, in February, the demand for rental housing in Moscow decreased by 20 percent compared to January of the current year. “However, this does not mean the fall of the market activity only returned to normal after a record surge in January (30 percent in comparison with January 2018)”, — emphasized in “INCOM”.
The greatest volume of supply of rental housing is currently concentrated in the capital, say realtors in the Central district shall be more than 12.5 thousand apartments (28 percent of the total number of objects within the old borders of Moscow). In second place — South district (5.8 thousand lots), the third — South-Western (5.3 thousand flats).
The majority — 48 percent — offer tenants the objects are “odnushki”. Another 30 percent — multi-room apartments (three rooms or more). “Kopeck piece” in the total supply is 22 percent stake, estimated by experts.
In January of this year the Moscow realtors said about a third of rented apartments in Moscow uninhabitable: 20 percent of such objects requires cosmetic repair, another 10 percent can be characterized as old or having significant damage.
