Fraudsters send out emails with offers to go on popular sites, in fact are dummies. Once the victim agrees to log in via the social network, the device downloaded a fake video depicting the operation of the Safari browser. The entered data is sent to the criminals, and the victim allegedly observes a successful authentication.
Experts note that some users may notice a fake: throughout the process, including the alleged transition to different pages, the URL in the address bar remains unchanged.
Earlier, a group of researchers discovered a security hole in the Intel processors, which allowed the attackers to steal the data. To attack it was required to conduct a phishing attack.
