The French company for the production of porcelain Bernardaud specially for Russia, has released a tea set “flower Bouquet Marc Chagall”. About it “lente.ru” has informed the representative a press-services of the company on Thursday, March 14.

Items of the service adorn selected with the participation of the Fund by Marc Chagall paintings based on the seven works of the famous artist, including five monotypes one of the most fruitful periods Mediterranean. The audience will first see the collection during the public talk with a specially arrived in Moscow granddaughters of the famous artist Meret Meyer-Graber (Vice-President of the Foundation of Marc Chagall) and Bella Meyer (doctor of arts, stage designer and florist).

The meeting will be held in the State Museum of fine arts named after Pushkin March 14 to 19 hours. It is open to everyone subject to prior registration and purchase of ticket to the Museum. Moderator public talk — researcher and Keeper of the Pushkin Museum Alexey Petukhov.

Marc Chagall is one of the most famous representatives of the artistic vanguard of the XX century. Born in the Russian Empire in 1887, worked mainly in France. The author of numerous easel and monumental works, is painting the ceiling of the Opera Garnier in Paris, mosaics and tapestries for the Israeli Knesset building in Jerusalem. Wrote poems, essays and memoirs in Yiddish. Knight of France’s highest award — the Grand cross of the Legion of honor. Died in France in 1985.

French Bernardaud porcelain factory was founded in Limoges in 1863. Among the limited editions of brand — items decorated by artists and designers Jeff Koons, Michael Lin, brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana, as well as Director David Lynch. In 1952, Marc Chagall painted by hand in a single copy set Bernardaud for the wedding of his daughter IDA. In 2004, the company turned to the Fund by Marc Chagall with a request to repeat the items of the service, and since then she is the world’s only brand that has the official right to reproduce on porcelain works of the artist.
