British Shiluma Trudy (Trudy Shillum) found on eBay postcards to her grandparents. About the unexpected discovery, reported newspaper Metro.
42-year-old resident of Glasgow interested in the history of his family. She typed in the Google search his name and the name of the London district of Leytonstone, where her relatives lived.
In search results the woman saw the announcement of the sale of two vintage postcards. Both were sent in the 30-ies of XX century. In the Epistles, a woman named rose was turned to her grandmother and grandfather. First she explained why we could not come to visit them, second — I heartily congratulated them with the anniversary.
The shiluma purchased both lots for seven pounds (about 600 rubles). Later, the woman posted photos of the postcard to Facebook and asked relatives about rose. Her father remembered two friends of the family with that name.
The British also tried to find out how the seller got rare cards, but he left the request unanswered.
Earlier, the German resident of Hamburg wanted to sell on eBay my husband. Lot called “the Husband used the” it was estimated at 18 Euro (almost 1.5 thousand rubles).
