The transport Ministry asked to postpone the preparation of the project documentation of the port of Taman for six months (till October 2019) to eliminate the risk of sanctions from the Ukrainian side. It is reported by RBC with reference to the letter of the Minister of transport Eugene Dietrich to Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov.

In the letter the Minister asks to change the correction date project documentation for construction of dry cargo sea port of Taman from March to October 2019. The document is now studying in the office of Deputy Prime Minister.

To eliminate the risk of restrictions on the part of Ukraine, with investors have agreed to relocate the approach channel (area of the shipping channel, providing a safe divergence of courts). Channel want to use so that he did not go into the territory of Ukraine within the borders until 2014.

The cost of construction of the Taman port is 170 billion rubles, the first phase of the project planned the construction of seven terminals with a total turnover 66,94 million tons. The port will be built on a concession basis.

Last year Ukraine charged Russian airlines fines in the amount of 209 million dollars for flights to Crimea after its joining Russia. The money is planned to recover through the courts. Among the companies to which the Ukrainian side claims, “Aeroflot”, “Ural airlines”, “Saratov airlines”, “UTair”, “Russia” “Nordavia”, “Globus”, “Red wings”,”Vim-Avia”, “Yamal” and others.
