The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the departure of Ukrainians to other countries for work is not a disaster. He stated this in an interview to “Radio Culture”, reports “Gromadske”.
“The Ukrainians are forced to leave Ukraine to work abroad. It is not a disaster, but this megabysos for the country,” he said, adding that members of the Diaspora should be allowed to legally have dual citizenship.
At the end of 2017 Klimkin argued that in Poland there are about one million Ukrainian citizens. According to him, Ukrainians are “really saved” the Polish economy.
23 January it became known that Ukraine has lost the first place in the ranking in terms of inflow of migrants to Russia. According to data of Rosstat, in the year 2018, the number of migrants arriving in Russia from Ukraine has decreased by more than three times compared with the 2017 year.
