The Minister of foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi thanked the Kazakhstani counterpart Beibut Atamkulov for the country’s position on the fight against extremism in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous region (XUAR). This was reported on the website of the Chinese foreign Ministry.
“Measures for combating extremism, adopted in Xinjiang, have shown remarkable results, provide security and stability. We are grateful for the support of Kazakhstan, the Chinese position”, — stated in the message.
