Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has linked the case of the former Minister for open government Mikhail Abyzov with his conflict with creditors. He stated this during a straight line in “Vkontakte” on Friday, March 29.
“His commercial activity completely unknown to me. But I heard about the conflict between him and the creditors, who received in the end this criminal development. Now the other scenario does not exist,” — said Medvedev.
He added that to comment on the investigation needs of law enforcement agencies.
Mikhail Abyzov was arrested March 26 on suspicion in creation of criminal community with use of official position and fraud in especially large size. According to the investigation, from April 2011 to November 2014, he, being the beneficial owner of a number of offshore commercial organizations, created and headed an organized criminal group. In the case referred to the stealing of the large sum of money.
