Pupils Ashgabat (capital of Turkmenistan) was obliged to purchase books by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and to take them to school. About it reports “Radio Azatlyk” (Turkmen service of “Radio Liberty”).
“Last week caused pupils 10 and 11 classes are on spring break, and instructed each of them to buy one book authored by President Berdimuhamedov. Teachers also made lists that specify what students will need to purchase a particular presidential the book,” the message reads.
The books that the students will give ownership of schools to use for special stands of the presidential books. Each school of the capital will be obliged to host such an exhibition.
Each book of the President is an average of about 400 Turkmen manat (about $ 12). “This past Friday and Saturday the majority of parents who applied to the heads of secondary schools, said that AZN 400 is more than half of their salaries, and if they spend on a book, they do not have anything to live,” States the report.
