The Board of jurors of the state of Texas (USA) has accused the former baseball player John Wetteland in three cases of sexual child abuse. It is reported by Sports Illustrated.
In January 2019, a 52-year-old American was arrested and released on bail in 25 thousand dollars. He is accused in at least three cases of sexual abuse of a boy between 2004 and 2006. The child was four to six years.
Wetland is a former player of clubs of Major League baseball (MLB) “new York Yankees” and “the Texas Rangers”. In 1996 he became a winner and most valuable player of the World series. The athlete had retired in 2000. He enters the Hall of fame club from Texas.
On March 22, was released from prison the former England international Adam Johnson, who was imprisoned for abusing 15-year-old girl. He was imprisoned for six years in 2016, but was released after half term.
