The movement “Open Russia” liquidated, have informed “Interfax” the press-Secretary Natalia Gryaznevich. This decision was made by the Confederation of community to protect its activists.
“Despite the fact that the prosecution of activists “Open Russia” illegally, and we continue to insist on this in all instances, we made the decision that people’s safety is important to us”, — explained Gryaznevich.
In January against a member of the Board of “Open Russia” Anastasia Shevchenko was prosecuted. She is accused of participation in the activities of undesirable organizations. Searches were held and other road users.

“Open Russia” movement as network appeared in 2001. In 2006, the organization ceased operations after the seizure of all accounts. She resumed work in 2014.
