Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the administration of the American leader Donald trump has not yet appealed to the Kremlin with a request for a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. On Saturday, March 30, reports TASS.

“No, not requested,” said Sands, commenting on the statement by trump about the possibility of discussing with Putin the situation in Venezuela.

Earlier, the President of the United States has announced that it plans to discuss the situation in Venezuela, with the leaders of Russia and China. “I will speak with many people — perhaps with President Putin, perhaps, with President XI [Jinping],” said he.

March 27, trump demanded that Russia “get out” from Venezuela. The U.S. state Department accused Moscow of a “reckless escalation” of the situation by the arrival in Venezuela of hundreds of Russian troops. The Kremlin has demanded that Washington respected the right of Russia to cooperation with other States.

January 23, speaker of the Parliament of Venezuela Juan Guido declared himself interim President on the background of mass protests in the country. The United States quickly recognized Guido legitimate leader. Russia supports the current President Nicolas Maduro.
