Consortium “national exit-poll-2019” published the final data of the exit polls. This is reported by “Ukrainian news”.
According to the results of the survey, 30.6 percent of the electorate voted for the showman Vladimir Zelensky, 17.8 per cent for the incumbent President, Petro Poroshenko, 14.2 percent for former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
In addition, 9.7 percent of respondents gave their vote to the candidate from “Opposition platform For life,” Yuri Boiko, 7.1 per cent, the former Minister of defence of Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko, 6.5 per cent voted for the former head of the SBU Igor Smeshko. The other candidates, according to the results, received less than five percent.
The survey was conducted at 400 polling stations. Altogether 19 461 of voters. The poll’s margin of error is 0.5-2.5%.
To win in the first round any of candidates had to earn at least 50 percent of the votes plus one vote. The second round in the case of this event will be held on April 21, and the final Protocol of the CEC will be released before may 1.
