The Burundian authorities have banned the broadcasting of “Bi-bi-si” and indefinitely suspended the work of “voice of America” on its territory. About it reports Reuters.
The reason for the ban of “bi-Bi-si” has become a documentary by British television of the secret prisons and torture in Burundi, the government was called a liar and undermining the reputation of the country. In “Bi-bi-si” said that this decision deals a blow to freedom of the media.
The suspension of the American radio “Voice of America” was also renewed. The discontent was caused by the reporter company, who criticized the authorities.
