The national space centre in Russia should become a center of world-class project will cost about 25 billion rubles, said President Vladimir Putin during a visit to NPO “NPO Energomash”. About it reports TASS on Friday, April 12.
“We hope that in 2022 already outline [center] will appear. We want, I would really like to make it look modern, beautiful, worthy of the industry that there could be focus our scientific and educational potential”, — said the head of state.
He said that the project implementation will allow to create about 20 thousand jobs.
This year launched a project of formation in Moscow of a unified space cluster on the basis of the Khrunichev Center. This initiative previously supported the President.
Earlier it was reported, the launch of the Russian space Observatory “Spektr-RG” is scheduled for the end of June. “Spektr-RG” will focus on the creation of a map of the observable Universe, and the search for large galaxy clusters.
