The widow of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic Mirian Markovich died in Russia on 77-m to year of life. On Sunday, April 14, according to the Serbian newspaper “evening news”.
According to the newspaper, Markovich died in one of hospitals of Sochi. As noted, in recent time, the woman had four surgeries and last week was in serious condition due to complications.
At the same time, the newspaper Blic reported that Markovic died in a Moscow hospital as a result of inflammation of the lungs.
In 2005, Serbia marković declared in the international search. In 2010, the widow of the Milosevic lived in Russia, where she was granted political asylum.
Slobodan Milosevic in 2002 was sentenced to life imprisonment for genocide and crimes against humanity. Four years later, at the age of 64, he died in the Hague prison. The cause of death was a heart attack.
