14-year-old swimmer Evgenia Chikunova was subjected to harassment after his victory in the race for the 200 meters breaststroke at the national Championships. TASS said the coach of the athletes Yuri Maslov.

According to him, devoted to swimming sites young athlete was accused of doping. Maslov said that over the seven years under his leadership, Chikunova has never taken illegal drugs. “This is all very frustrating, we even forbade her to use the Internet, so she’s not upset, took care of the psyche,” said the coach.

The swimmer in the 200m breaststroke walked Yulia Efimov, four-time world champion and the medalist of the Olympic games. Efimova finished third and did not meet the standard, allowing to get into the national team for the world Cup. However, according to the decision of the coaching staff, Chikunova was not included in the composition, because its plans performance at the Junior European Championships. Instead, the team hit Efimova.

The world championship in water sports will be held in South Korea’s Gwangju from 12 to 28 July.
