Preliminary tests of the UAV long range navigation “Sarma” will begin in the first phase in 2021 in the White sea, reported RIA Novosti Deputy General Director — head of physical-technical researches of advanced research Foundation (DRF) Igor Denisov.

“The planned control experiment involves the demonstration of the capabilities of the device go ten thousand miles without surfacing and without using nuclear power plant. Autonomy turns out about three months. The machine is made in modular execution”, — said the expert.

The Deputy Director noted that work on the construction of a demonstrator “Sarma” will begin in July.
