At the headquarters of the presidential candidate of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky do not recognize the referendum on the reunification of the Crimea with Russia. This is stated in the statement released by the headquarters.
“So-called referendum could not be considered an act that testifies to the freely expressed will of citizens of the Republic, because he came under the muzzles of Russian machines and without the participation of a significant number of citizens of the Crimean Tatar, Ukrainian, Russian and other ethnic origin,” — said in a statement.
On March 31, Ukraine held presidential elections. According to the final results of the first round, Zelensky received 30,24% of the votes, and the current President Petro Poroshenko — by 15.95 percent. The Chairman of the “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko scored 13,40%, the candidate from “Opposition platform For life,” Yuriy Boyko — 11.67 percent.
The second round of presidential elections held in Ukraine on April 21. It will feature the participation of Poroshenko and Zelensky.
