French family Arnault, which owns a group of companies Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), announced the donation of 200 million euros for the restoration of burnt-out 15 APR Notre-Dame Cathedral. This is two times the donation of the French business Pinault. It is reported by Le Figaro.
“The family of Arnault and the LVMH group wanted to demonstrate its solidarity with national tragedy and came together to help restore this extraordinary Cathedral which is the symbol of France, its heritage and French unity,” the statement said Arnault.
Earlier on 16 April, the billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault said that he and his father françois “has decided to allocate funds to Artemis 100 million to participate in the effort required for full recovery of Notre Dame de Paris”.
