The Russians are allowed to gather moss and reeds

Members of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk region has adopted a law allowing residents to gather in the forests of moss, reeds and forest litter. On Tuesday, April 16, reports URA.RU.

It is noted that the regional normative acts brought in accordance with the Federal. The new law should enter into force from 1 July 2019.

The bill was presented by MP Ilya Gaffner. According to him, up to the present time to collect moss, reed litter, and in some categories of forests was forbidden.

Gaffner is also known that in early 2015 the event “United Russia” on monitoring of prices in the shops said that if the Russians do not have enough money, “you just have to think about their own health, eat less”.

In April last year, President Vladimir Putin signed a law that allows Russians free to gather dead wood in the forest for their own needs. The relevant amendments in the Forest code went into effect in 2019. They are allowed to harvest and collect fallen to the ground the trunks of trees or their parts, twigs and branches for personal use.
