Comedian and TV presenter Sergei Svetlakov in an interview with Ksenia Sobchak told why he switched from TNT, STS, and called the approximate size of their earnings. Interviews available on the YouTube channel of the project “Carefully, Sobchak!”.
According to Svetlakov, six months before the end of the contract with TNT, he felt that he had no future on TV. “I’m like a walking advertisement for TNT. Just go, and you show a finger: “OH, TNT is coming!” I didn’t get any money for it. New work on the canal was not but gurania “Dance” and Comedy Battle. For me it has ceased to be and work, and business,” explained Svetlakov.
The actor said he had warned the network about his possible departure. He was hoping that TNT will offer him the prospects of development, but since this did not happen, began negotiations with CCC. “We he and Sasha Nezlobnym came up with a show, which we thought might be interesting, and gained Fame Murugova (General Director of “STS Media” — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), “—described the beginning of cooperation with the channel-competitor Svetlakov.
The presenter announced the leadership of TNT about the care after the signing of the contract with STS. In his opinion, this could be the reason it offended the creative producer of TNT Vyacheslav Dosmukhamedov. Now, as said Sobchak, the channel is forbidden to pronounce even the name of Svetlakov. The actor said that his decision has no regrets and considers it correct.
Kenny g didn’t mention the size of their earnings on STS, but confirmed that he is greater than 500 thousand dollars a year (about 32 million rubles at the current exchange rate). The same amount he was paid while working on TNT. In addition, the host receives about three million rubles for each live performance.
The comedian started to work on STS 1 July 2018. Together with Nezlobnym they started the Studio, “Sverdlovsk” and set about restarting the show “Thank God you came!”, last time aired live in 2010. In March 2019 Svetlakov and Nezlobin started filming the show “it was evening” with Michael Schatz, former host of “Thank God you came!”, not worked on television since 2013. Currently in development at STS is another show with Schatz, where he will co-host Svetlakov.
