A resident of the U.S. state of North Carolina almost lost in the wind a winning lottery ticket. It is reported by news portal UPI.
John Hepburn (John Hepburn) from the city of Fayetteville purchased the lottery ticket Cash 5 and put it in the door pocket in the car. “I always put the purchased tickets there, — said the American. — I don’t check the game results for a few days. Sometimes I open the car, and tickets to fly in the wind.”
The next day, the gamblers opened the driver’s door, and a few tickets flew out. “Then I thought it would be nice to check the remaining tickets. All of a sudden I won something,” said Hepburn. It turned out, the day before bought a Cash 5 ticket has miraculously survived and brought the man a winning in size 489,2 thousand dollars (31,3 million).
Lucky American plans to spend the prize money to pay off the mortgage and gifts for grandchildren.
Earlier in April, the inhabitants of the U.S. state Maryland was cleaning out debris from the car and found a winning ticket worth 250 thousand dollars (16,3 million).
