Terrorists “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia) announced that it has carried out the first operation in the Congo, and proclaim there the “Central province” of its “Caliphate.” About it reports Reuters.
At least two soldiers of Congo’s army and one civilian were killed in a shootout near the town of Beni, said the Agency a source in the UN peacekeeping mission. According to the version spread by terrorists, killing five soldiers and three more were injured.
As stressed by another source Reuters, the leader of the local civil community David MoAZ, it is impossible to confirm the responsibility of the IG for the attack. The witnesses believe that it is guilty of an Islamic group called “United democratic forces” (ADF), which is suspected of financial and other ties with ISIS.
