A tourist from Russia had left for Sri Lanka, where the explosion occurred, a few hours before the incident. This was reported in the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, reports of “360”.

It is noted that the Russian was in a five-star hotel in Colombo, where the explosions occurred. However, according to an Embassy employee Igor Kovalev, he was discharged from the hotel in the morning and left town.

Other citizens of Russia in the area of the incident was not added in the Embassy. Earlier, the Ambassador Yury Matter said that no Russians among the dead and injured in terrorist attacks.

In Sri Lanka the morning of April 21 occurred eight explosions. According to the latest data, killing 207 people, injuring more than 450. Among the victims were 35 foreigners.

Police have detained 13 suspects in the terrorist attacks. However, the responsibility for the incident have not yet stated no organization.
