The President of “United aircraft Corporation” (UAC), which owns the “Sukhoi Civil aircraft”, Yuri Slyusar in March 2019 appealed to the Russian government with a request to allocate additional 39 billion rubles for the development of medium-range MS-21. It is reported by Telegram-channel Baza with reference to the document.
It is reported that 18 billion rubles, UAC requests to send the Irkutsk aviation plant for the construction of new production buildings and purchase of equipment. Another 15 billion rubles is required JSC “AeroComposite” on the second industrial building, 4.5 billion rubles, JSC “Aviastar” for the reconstruction of the buildings.
1.5 billion Slusar asked to allocate to PJSC “Voronezh aircraft manufacturing company” equipment for assembling the parts. In the “Assistance” and the KLA did not respond to a request for increased funding for the development of MS-21.
Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said the need to achieve import substitution in the project of MS-21 aircraft, which “are constantly trying spokes in the wheel to put”.
According to Medvedev, in 2019 for the production and support of the aircraft will be allocated 1.6 billion roubles. In 2020 and 2021 for these purposes I will go again and 4,11 4,81 billion. The MS-21 should be the first medium-range aircraft created in post-Soviet Russia. First deliveries are scheduled for 2020.
