Some passengers of British Airways in the hospital after their plane was caught in powerful turbulence. Reported by the Daily Mail.
The incident occurred on a flight from London to the American city of Tampa, Florida.
One of the victims, Ollie Richmond, was filming the incident on video and posted it on the social networks. The video shows that in the aisle the floor was littered with personal belongings, Newspapers and suitcases of passengers, and some of the aircraft inside the cabin is damaged.
“The plane soared, there was no warning. A few people have hit my head on the ceiling,” said Richmond, adding that some tourists were taken to hospital after the incident.
Later it became clear that 14 passengers needed hospitalization. Representatives of British Airways have brought travelers the apology and said that he had done everything possible to help the victims.
In January, an experienced pilot told what routes to avoid aerofoam who are afraid to get into turbulence. He noted that turbulence often occurs near the equator, on flights from the US to the UK, over the mountain ranges and the approach to Glasgow airport from the East.
