According to Hearne, the Tendril was forced to postpone the match due to injury of the biceps. The fight was scheduled for may 25 and was supposed to be the debut for 32-year-old Ukrainian heavyweight category. New date of the match will be announced later.
The last time the boxer went into the ring in November 2018 and defeated the British Tony Bellew. Usik defended the belt version of the world Boxing Council (WBC), world Boxing organization (WBO), world Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF).
He has never been defeated in professional Boxing. The Ukrainian scored 16 victories, 12 of them by knockout.
