The current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko preparing an usurpation of power. With such statement on air of TV channel NewsOne was made by the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Hope Savchenko, reports RIA Novosti.
According to her, Poroshenko is delaying the transfer of power to Vladimir Zelensky, wanting as much as possible not to hand over his powers. She added that the President puts his people in key military posts, which de facto will allow it for a long time to be commander in chief.
Savchenko also suggested that delaying the choice of the date of the inauguration Zelensky is due to the need for Poroshenko “to steal and to hide what was stolen in the offshore.”
Ukrainian law stipulates that the Parliament is obliged to appoint date of carrying out of inauguration of the President within 30 days after the official announcement of the election results. In this case, the deadline for the inauguration — may 30. The Parliament plans to adopt a decision on the matter during the next plenary meeting will be held may 14. At the moment the Verkhovna Rada registered four resolutions on the date of the inauguration Zelensky 19, 20 and 26 may and 1 June. Zelensky himself insists sworn in on may 19.
Earlier, on 13 may, Poroshenko stated that he is interested in the speedy inauguration Zelensky.
Ukraine’s Central election Commission 30 APR Zelensky has officially recognized the winner of the presidential election. In the second round he was supported 73,22% of the voters, Poroshenko is 24.45% of the votes.
