A senior FSB officer was arrested on charges of taking bribes in especially large size for the protection of businessmen who had to build housing for the KGB, but stole the money. About it writes “Kommersant”.
Former Deputy chief of Department of capital construction (UKS) FSB Colonel Anatoly Naumov was under investigation after testimonies of the former leaders of the construction company “UK “invest Victoria”” Michael lyagin and Andrei Simonov. They said they gave seven million rubles FSB Colonel for General support in the performance of their contracts for the construction of the residential quarter in Sochi for the intelligence officers.
These contracts for a total amount of 1.2 billion rubles were signed in 2011-2012, however the developers have completed only part of the work. Then they introduced the FSB astray, receiving advances. In the end, it was stolen 400 million rubles, which were derived through a shell company.
Lyagin and Simon pleaded guilty for fraud in the sphere of entrepreneurial activity, was sentenced to four years each.
