Video of Vladimir Zelensky, in which the elected President of Ukraine in the ultimatum calls on the Parliament to appoint the date of the inauguration, on 19 may, has changed the position of the party “Block of Petro Poroshenko” on the issue. This is with reference to sources in the parliamentary faction of the newspaper writes “RBC-Ukraine”.
Allegedly, before the publication of the video holding in party leadership positions policy was going to support the proposal Zelensky to hold the inauguration on may 19. However, the ultimate form, which was written appeal, forced the supporters of the incumbent President to reconsider his position.

Ukrainian law stipulates that the Parliament is obliged to appoint date of carrying out of inauguration of the President within 30 days after the official announcement of the election results. In this case, the deadline for the inauguration — may 30.
It is expected that the meeting of Committee on regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the date of the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky will take place may 15 at 15:00. If the Parliament will not be able vote to determine the date of the inauguration, it is solely appointed by the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada. The incumbent Andriy Parubiy is against early elections to the Parliament. If the inauguration will take place after may 27, Vladimir Zelensky will not be able to dissolve Parliament until the expiration of his term.
