Today to arrange a ticket on long distance trains for a child under the age of one month with no birth certificate from the registry office. Under the new rules, tickets will be sold upon presentation of a medical certificate of birth issued by the hospitals or individual entrepreneurs providing medical services.
According to this document, the train ticket should specify the surname of the child or his parent, as well as the series and number of medical birth certificate.
It is clarified that these changes were required due to the fact that parents of infants often have to refuse to make a ticket on the train without a birth certificate from the registry office.
