European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said that Georgia was a European state. His words leads TASS.
“Georgia outside of the European Union — the first country where we launched the European school. Georgia 100 percent has become a European government,” said Juncker at a conference in honor of the decade of the “Eastern partnership”. He added that this program has achieved success, which depends on the EU and its partner countries that share common values of democracy.
“Eastern partnership” programme of the European Union, the main goal of which is development of integration relations of the EU with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
In March, Georgia promised the imminent NATO membership.
