USA offered Turkey to postpone the purchase of Russian anti-aircraft missile complexes (AAMS) s-400 until 2020. About it reports Bloomberg with reference to sources.
According to the Agency, currently, Ankara is considering a new offer of Washington. It is noted that the delay could help the Turkish side to avoid us sanctions.
Earlier, the German Bild newspaper reported that Ankara’s refusal to buy the s-400. However, the head of the communications Department of the administration of the Turkish President Fahrettin Altun denied this information, stating that the process for the purchase of s-400 is completed.
In April, the U.S. gave Turkey an ultimatum: if Ankara will not refuse from purchasing Russian air defense system, Washington will not give her the fifth generation fighter F-35.
