In addition, article 104 of the Constitution, which refers Shevchuk in an interview, does not contain any reservations or conditions to bring the President to the oath of the President of the court.
“Neither the CCU nor the court is generally irrelevant and is not endowed with any powers of control over the observance of the law during the electoral process”, — stated in the conclusion of the court.
Also, the judge rebuked Shevchuk that it is against the law to appoint a freelance advisors of the constitutional court.
At the meeting of may 14, the constitutional court judges expressed to the President of the court Stanislav Shevchuk distrust. The reason for this decision was the opinion of the Committee on rules and ethics concerning possible violations of the Chapter. In the opinion of the Commission, Shevchuk made a significant disciplinary misconduct, grossly or persistently neglected his duties.
The successor Shevchuk as the head of the COP became judge Natalia Shaptala.
