Ukraine imposed new sanctions against Russia. About it reports TASS. Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that another package of restrictions prohibits supply of certain product groups and the introduction of special duties.
“This mirror measures — the embargo and the special duty on Russian goods,” — said Groisman. According to him, it will apply to the goods in Ukraine “completely manufactured”, or may be replaced by alternative supplies.
The first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said that the ban will affect certain types of “industrial products, mineral fertilizers, agricultural products, vehicles, plywood and other.”
Also from 1 August 2019 Ukraine introduced an additional tax on goods of the Russian origin. This was stated by the Minister of economic development of the country Stepan Kubiv.
“The draft resolution we set August 1, 2019 special tax on the import of goods from Russia in percent to the customs value, irrespective of other taxes,” he said.
Previously co-chair of the energy strategies Foundation Dmytro Marunych has said that Russia gained control over Ukraine’s economy.
