The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Belarus believes in the need to abandon counterproductive to the dilemma between East and West. It is reported BelTA.
“We are confident that the rejection of counterproductive dilemma “East or West” is a necessary contribution to the future and I hope the inevitable normalization of relations in the European region or rather in the OSCE region”, — said the Deputy head of the foreign Ministry Oleg Kravchenko.
In March, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed the view that the Western and Eastern vectors of Belarus ‘ foreign policy must balance each other. According to him, currently the situation is that the dialogue with the West “irritating” in Moscow and Vice versa. Balance will be achieved when the EU market will be for Belarus “an alternative to the Russian not only on paper but in deeds,” said the Belarusian leader.
In the same month, Lukashenka also said that many countries, ranging from Scandinavia and ending States of Africa are watching the progress of his country and I expect her to help.
