The chief of one of divisions of FSB Colonel Cyril Cherkalin was accused of receiving bribes in the amount of 850 thousand dollars (about 55 million). On Thursday, may 16, with reference to the materials of the case reports TASS.

The materials were read by Oleg Moskvitin — a judge of the Moscow district military court (MOVS), which examines the complaint officer Cherkalin for his arrest. All three colonels are suspected of fraud in especially large size: Cherkalin — in bribes in tens of millions of rubles, and the former employees of the “K” Frolov and Vasiliev — misappropriation of shares in a large Moscow company.

During searches in the office and at home Cherkalin seized a large sum of money, collections of watches and jewelry. “Maybe this will be the second Zakharchenko,” — said a source familiar with the situation.
