A tanker unloaded oil from Iran in the tanks near the Chinese city of Zhoushan. The raw material is put in the bypass of U.S. sanctions prohibiting exports from the Islamic Republic, Reuters reports.

On Board the tanker Marshal Z was nearly 130 thousand tons of fuel. It is reported that he was transported to China for several months, passing between the four commercial courts.

Monday, may 13, Saudi Arabia reported damage to two of its tankers in the Gulf of Oman. It happened shortly after the US about the threat of attacks on commercial vessels from Iran.

6 may it was reported that Tehran plans to use the gray market to sell their oil bypassing the us sanctions. As stated by the Deputy Minister of oil for international and trade Affairs Amir Hossein Zamaninia, trade on the gray market is not fraud, but “response to the sanctions that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers unfair and illegal”.

Relations between the US and Iran escalated after the beginning of may 2018 trump announced the unilateral withdrawal of Washington from a nuclear deal in 2015 and the renewal of the sanctions against Tehran. New package of restrictive measures against Iran came into force in November. In addition to the ban on oil exports, sanctions apply to industry, trade and operations of the Central Bank of the country in dollars.
