Network free found database service “Fly.ru”, which contained information about thousands of Russian travelers. About the founder of DeviceLock Ashot Hovhannisyan told “Kommersant”.
According to Hovhannisyan, the database usernames and passwords of several hundred travel agencies. With them, every person could gain access to the passport data of tourists, information about tickets and committed transactions. In addition, there were about 11.7 thousand e-mail addresses.
In the “to Fly.ru” and the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) comments are not provided.
In April, experts DeviceLock analyzed a cloud-based database of the Russian Internet and came to the conclusion that more than 52 percent of them had the opportunity for unauthorized access, and some of them have already been hacked. They found the personal data of Russians, including residential address, contact numbers and passport details.
