Chief editor of radio station “Echo of Moscow” Alexei Venediktov said he did not want a repeat of the situation with the funeral of Sergei Dorenko after death. During the ceremony of farewell to a colleague he said he was warned about this family, reports TASS.

“It was the stress among girls (daughters Dorenko — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), and I think that to blame the near-impossible is that it fancies and it seems that the person who was supposed to live long, suddenly goes. Always family think it is unfair, so I understood and told his relatives that they never did, if with me happens the same,” said the journalist.

Funeral Dorenko was postponed due to suspicion of his daughters that his father was poisoned, although the doctors diagnosed that the cause of death was aortic rupture. The farewell ceremony was scheduled for may 12, but the body of the journalist was not given to the wife because the daughter wanted to wait for the results of forensic chemical research.

Dorenko died may 9 at the age of 59 years. He crashed on a motorcycle, during which he ruptured his aorta. According to the wife and friends of the journalist, he knew of health problems and received treatment.
