Holding X5 Retail Group announced the change of format of one of their retail networks “Pyaterochka”. Updated first store opened in Moscow in Zelenograd, stated in a statement.
It is noted that the new rebranding takes place six years after the previous one, which helped the “roundabout” to increase revenue growth and attract new buyers.
The main change is the introduction of user friendly navigation for customers. In addition, all new stores will have their own bakery, and the shelves of vegetables and fruit will be individually highlighted to demonstrate to buyers their freshness.
The leadership of Pyaterochka intends to focus on the atmosphere of their shops and thereby to compete for customers with other retail chains, said the head of the retailer Sergey Goncharov owned by the family Demyan Kudryavtsev, the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
“Roundabout” is a holding X5 Retail Group, along with networks “the Crossroads” and “Carousel.” As at the end of 2018, under his direction, was 14.4 thousand stores across Russia.
