Export version of the Russian fifth generation fighter, the su-57 (su-57Э) require protection of a number of “critical technologies,” said the “Free Press” chief editor of the portal MilitaryRussia.ru Dmitry Kornev.
According to military experts, speech can go, in particular, the engine of the second stage, the radar housing, and composite materials. “Critical technologies may also be composite materials. Although after the American embargo on them there is a suspicion that the su-57 will be all-metal. This can affect the high-tech apparatus. But this is only speculation,” — said the chief editor.
In March, Director of international cooperation and regional policy of “Rostec” Viktor Kladov said that the documents for the export version of the Russian fifth generation fighter su-57Э almost ready.
In January it was reported that Russian short and medium-haul passenger aircraft MS-21 can remain without composite “black wing” because of U.S. sanctions against enterprises of Rostec, in particular, “AeroComposite”.
Later that month, the office of the Vice-Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that the program is the creation of MS-21 will be implemented, and the General Director of “AeroComposite” Anatoly Gydanski called the measures introduced by the Ministry of industry and trade of the United States against supplier of components for MS-21, not sanctions, and “technological limitations”.
