The singer Sergey Lazarev, who took third place at the international musical contest “Eurovision-2019”, said the biased attitude of judges. He told RIA Novosti.
The actor said that he saw “some bias” against the country he represented. According to him, unfair judgment can be the result of a negative attitude towards the policy of Moscow or “all by country”.
Many countries, for example, Georgia once again did not want to consider the number of Russia, said Lazarev. “I’d like to see how viewers voted in those countries where the jury gave 0 points,” he said.
“Jury — maybe they just don’t like, is also possible. I don’t know the participants were worthy, diverse, different, the competition was very serious this year”, — said the singer.
Lazarev drew attention to the fact that fewer journalists asked him questions about politics and were very friendly.
The final of the competition, which involved 26 countries, was held in tel Aviv, Israel, may 18, 2019. The next “Eurovision” will be held in may 2020 in the country of the winner.
