American space company SpaceX sued the U.S. government in connection with the struggle for contracts to launch satellites nacobre. It is reported by The Washington Post, citing court documents.
In a statement, the company stated that the text of the claim must not be disclosed, however, the final decision on its classification will be taken by the Federal court of the United States.
That the claim refers to the program of public procurement, the paper relates to the fact that at the same time, the U.S. air force began preparations for major contracts for space launches. Contracts valued at several billion dollars.
Last year, SpaceX lost the contract to the air force for funding the development of rockets to launch government satellites.
According to GeekWire, SpaceX sued the U.S. government in 2014 due to the transfer of the contract for 36 rocket stages, the company ULA due to the fact that only she had the certification for launches in the interests of national security.
