Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has signed an order to improve conditions for young scientists, in particular related to housing and availability of modern equipment. It is reported TASS on Monday, may 20.
Speaking at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council on strategic development and national projects, Medvedev noted the need for rejuvenation of Russian science. New orders aimed at addressing this issue, he said.
Medvedev also urged to provide conditions for effective work of scientific centers and laboratories, and attract business research funding.
In early April, the Prime Minister announced the increase of salaries of scientific staff. According to him, for these purposes will be allocated more than five billion rubles. Previously, he pointed out the relevance of the developments of Russian scientists.
In February about the importance of attracting young people to science, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
