Supporters of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinian unblocked the entrances to the courts of the country. About this he wrote in his Facebook.
Earlier on may 20 in addition to supporters blocked the entrances to the courts throughout the country, including the Supreme judicial Council. The demonstrators followed the call of the Prime Minister, which was made after the court released from-under guards of the former President Robert Kocharian. He vouched for the former President of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and his predecessor Arkady Ghukasian. This decision caused strong dissatisfaction among the supporters of the current government.
Kocharian was arrested on 27 July 2018 on charges of overthrowing the constitutional order during the violent crackdown on protesters on March 1-2, 2008. Less than a month he was released from custody under recognizance not to leave, but then re-arrested after a complaint of the Prosecutor General.
