In the Kremlin there is confidence in completing the construction of the “Nord stream-2”, despite possible US sanctions, said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. It is quoted by TASS on Tuesday, may 21.
“In many ways, the project has already been implemented,” he added.
Earlier Tuesday, U.S. energy Secretary Rick Perry during a visit to Kyiv announced the introduction of restrictive measures against the construction of the pipeline.
In turn, the Russian side has considered trying to block the project unaffordable.
It is planned that the “Nord stream-2” will earn at the end of this year. However, processing times may increase due to the reluctance of Denmark to issue a building permit. The US criticized the project and said that Moscow must not shy away from the Ukrainian transit.
