Russia plans to launch a mortgage lending program designed specifically for rural areas. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the speech of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
“In any case, the agricultural life and the mortgage on the village should see (…) I Think that it is a question of the nearest future”, — said Medvedev, speaking on the form of the rural deputies from “United Russia” in Voronezh.
According to the Vice Prime Minister, the government together with the Central Bank of the Russian Federation intends to discuss the basic parameters of “rural mortgage”, including the possibility of processing the loan for the first installment of at least 20 percent of the cost of the acquired property. “20 percent is not very much. But for the village it can still be a very large sum, maloprodejna”, — said Medvedev.
“Here you need to look for a way out, given the state of the ability in some cases to subsidize, including, for example, at some initial spending,” he added.
The selection of housing projects for participation in the program is scheduled for completion by October 1, 2019.
Earlier, an initiative to substituate from the budget rate on your mortgage for residents in rural areas were made by the Deputy from “United Russia” Gennady Kulik. According to the MP, is available for Russians living in rural areas, the rate on housing loans should not exceed 3.5-4 percent per annum.
