Delivery of clean oil on the oil pipeline “Druzhba” had to be postponed at least until Thursday, according to family-owned Demyan Kudryavtsev, the newspaper “Vedomosti”, citing sources.

The reason for the delay is called the position of Poland, which has not yet agreed on the parameters of pumping. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Poland is going to demand compensation for failure of supply.

At the end of last week Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak said that pumping of standard oil by the Druzhba pipeline to Poland ready to start on Monday.

The representative of “Belneftekhim” in turn, said that Belarus in the framework of the agreement with Transneft is ready to restore the flow in the direction of Ukraine and Poland. “While pumping there is neither one way nor another,” he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki has demanded from Russia to incur the financial responsibility for the mistakes that resulted in the pipeline got contaminated oil.

Also the energy Minister of Poland Krzysztof Chorzelski sent a letter to the Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak with a demand to take urgent measures to resume the supply of clean oil and to compensate incurred losses.
It was noted that Polish refineries were able to maintain the pace of work through the supply of oil by sea and the use of reserves.
